The Blood of Jesus

Picture in your mind as they whipped and scourged Jesus Christ....

"Blood was splattered on the floor. That blood that you walk on when you go in EZmart and buy your alcohol. That blood that you trod on and roll around in when you're out sleeping around on your wife or your husband. That blood that you trod on when you're on your little computer looking up that dirty stuff. That blood that you trod on when you lead a lost family member or loved one or friend away from Jesus because of your lifestyle. Blood was everywhere. The blood that saved me would have been splattered on the wall. It would have been everywhere. That life-saving, life-giving blood. GOD'S BLOOD!"  -  Grant (my husband)

What can wash away my sin?
Nothing but the blood of Jesus.
What can make me whole again?
Nothing but the blood of Jesus.

For my pardon this I see:
nothing but the blood of Jesus.

For my cleansing this my plea:
nothing but the blood of Jesus.

Nothing can for sin atone:
nothing but the blood of Jesus.
Naught of good that I have done:
nothing but the blood of Jesus.

This is all my hope and peace:
nothing but the blood of Jesus.
This is all my righteousness:
nothing but the blood of Jesus.

O precious is the flow
that makes me white as snow;

no other fount I know;
nothing but the blood of Jesus.

  1. We've visited each other's blogs, but it has been a long time. I liked this ost. Great song, and the pic is so graphic. It drives the message home about what Jesus endured on that cross. Wow.
